Kelsea Ballerini joins the line up for Country 2 Country 2018

As exclusively announced by Ricky Ross on BBC Radio Scotland this evening; one of the USA’s brightest stars Kelsea Ballerini has been announced to join a whole host of multi-platinum and acclaimed artists at Country To Country 2018.

Kelsea Ballerini skyrocketed to stardom with the US Top 5 release of her GOLD debut THE FIRST TIME producing three consecutive PLATINUM-certified, #1 smashes - “Love Me Like You Mean It," “Peter Pan,” and “Dibs” – a feat never achieved by a female (including duos or groups) in Country music history. Her fourth single, “Yeah Boy,” also achieved GOLD status and rose to the lofty perch of #3 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.

Named among the "30 Biggest Albums of Fall” by Entertainment Weekly, Kelsea will release her new album ‘Unapologetically’ on November 3rd via Sony. The album is the long-awaited second chapter of Kelsea’s remarkable artistic story, a still-unfolding saga that has seen the Knoxville, Tennessee, native break all-time records and rack up widespread acclaim.

Kelsea has appeared on the cover of Billboard Magazine’s GRAMMY preview issue, was included in Forbes’ “30 Under 30” class of 2017, and featured in People Magazine’s “Beauty at Every Age” list in their iconic World’s Most Beautiful issue for 2017. Awarded Billboard’s “Rising Star” title at the prestigious 2015 Women in Music event, the Grammy Best New Artist nominee has continued to gain recognition by scoring her first-ever ACM Award win for New Female Vocalist of the Year, iHeartRadio Music Award for Best New Country Artist, multiple Radio Disney Music Awards, and the American Country Countdown Award (ACCA) for Breakthrough Female of the Year. Ballerini is vying for Female Vocalist of the Year at the 51st Annual CMA Awards airing live from Nashville on November 8 on ABC. She will also be honored as Artist of the Year at the Nashville Business Journal’s fourth annual Women in Music City Awards (10/17) and with the ASCAP Vanguard Award at the 55th annual ASCAP Country Music Awards (11/6).

Kelsea joins Grammy© award-winning superstars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw who were announced last week as the first headliners for Country to Country 2018. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have been dominating the music charts since the early ‘90s. They began touring together in 1996 on McGraw’s Spontaneous Combustion tour. In 2000 they created the Soul2Soul franchise with their record-breaking “Soul2Soul” tour, becoming that year’s top grossing and most successful U.S. tour. Their success continued in 2006-2007 when “Soul2Soul II” returned to the road, which was the most attended tour of the year in any musical genre and remains the highest grossing multi-year North American tour in country music history.
