BLACK DEER LIVE - OUTLAWS & INDEPENDENTS - EMILIA QUINN - AGS CONNOLLY - SAVANNAH GARDNER - DOM GLYNN - THE FIDDLERS ELBOW

What better way to celebrate the day Earth defeated the aliens than by spending an evening with the good folks at Talentbanq and a cracking Americana line up guaranteed to dazzle and delight.

It feels like we have spent much of the year shouting the praises of Emilia Quinn - and why not she's worth it - having already won over many admirers at this years C2C in both acoustic and electric formats, she topped off her Buckle & Boots journey by headlining Friday night. She's maybe not as well known in London which is all the more reason to get out and see her now so you can quickly nab a remaining ticket to her autumn show at The Green Note.

Ags Connolly had the honour to play at the inaugural C2C Pop Stages - #TEAMw21 first came across him at a small nightclub in Ascot and have never looked back since over the years. Expect Ags' wry humour and a level of songwriting that can pull at the heartstrings. A definite musicologist you will also surely emerge a little wiser than when you went in. With his Tex Mex album "Siempre" still deserving a well earned plug, satisfaction is all but guaranteed.

Having recently seen both Ags and Savannah Gardener at The Sound Lounge we are more than happy to repeat the experience. That night Savannah was in a rather eye catching outfit but the thing that we took away was the quality of her songwriting. Songs like "Lonely Cowgirl" and "Wild Fire" mark her out as something just a little bit different and her voice which has a US / UK twang to it, is equally individual. Even as a support act she held the Sound Lounge audience in the palm of her hand and we expect to be equally bewitched at The Fiddlers Elbow.

Dom Glynn as he looks out from the promotional poster for the event seems more likely to be leading a ska band than a country combo - but a quick check on Spotify confirms he is in the right place. Actually we had to check twice as the voice that emerges is perhaps not quite the one you would put with the picture above. His latest single "Time Would Slow Down" with his band "Sunday Best" is as Americana as it could possibly be and shows Dom to have a voice about 40 years older than he is!

It promises to be a truly fantastic evening.
