One of the most pleasant surprises of downloading The Long Road App is that all of a sudden you find new acts appearing that you never even thought were playing. An example is case is the frankly marvellous Brooke Law who will be filling 2 slots on Sunday.
Brooke has already wowed crowds at C2C and at Buckle & Boots for the second year running. Pretty much able to turn her hand to anything she can play solo with a band and can deliver the softest ballad or rock the joint to its core.
With a string of excellent singles to her name and an excellent choice of covers - #TEAMw21 will always suggest you check Brooke's version of Candi Staton's "Young Hearts Run Free" to see how a song can be reinvented.
She also has written quite possibly one of the best Christmas songs ever but we'll have to tell you about that nearer the time.
