There are a couple of things that immediately put Neeve on our must see list, first off is her jaw droppingly wonderful new EP - "Country Kind Of Love" only released on the 19th May with a show in Manchester, the second is that she was the opening act for The View's recent shambolic comeback gig that ended with the band brawling on stage and eventually abandoning the gig. Sadly all reports from the show concentrated on the fisticuffs and not a mention was to be found of Neeve's opening set.
#TEAMw21 will endeavor to correct this injustice with some reportage from the Paddock Stage where she'll be playing her part in a very strong line up on Sunday.
Our early research suggests that this first EP is but the tip of the iceberg in terms of the new songs that Neeve has up her sleeve.
She is blessed with a talking voice that is pure Manchester yet a singing voice that may have heard the odd Dolly Parton tune or two in its time. Her debut EP "country Kind Of Love" is not just going to cause ripples, it's going to launch tsunami's it really is an amazing piece of work from someone who'd previously only issued one single!
Her songwriting and singing seems far in advance of her years, so this could well turn into one of those "I was there" moments which Buckle & Boots has the habit of throwing up each year.
Neeve Zahra will be on the Paddock Stage on Sunday at 13:10
