Few acts can genuinely say that they stopped #TEAMw21 in their tracks. One that can lay claim to that is Kerri Watt - her last appearance at C2C was the stuff of legends and should have propelled her forward into national recognition.
Dressed in her tracksuit and sunshades she exploded back on to the scene in almost an alter ego so radical was the change. She was strutting the stage and the band were in a mighty groove.
The album that would spring from this project "Neptune's Daughter" was preceded by a number of inventive videos. Everything was set for the globe to get 1000 Watts of Kerri however the world came to a grinding halt and the chance to give this album the push it so deserved passed by.
The good news is that Kerri Watt will be at C2C 2024 - and not only that but she'll be coming with a brand new storming single "Predictable" which seems to pick up where "Neptunes Daughter" finished. She is of course no stranger to C2C and whether she comes with just her guitar and plays a few tunes or turns up with a rocking band she is well worthy of your attention.
Kerri Watt will perform at C2C London on March 8 (Big Entrance Stage 2pm, Icon stage 5pm) and March 9 at 2:30pm on Observatory stage.
